1,358 MW in Kemps Creek

Kemps Creek holds more than a fifth of Sydney's data-centre pipeline.

Map of Kemps Creek showing SYD4 at 1,000 MW, Azure Kemps Creek at 190 MW and Stockland Kemps Creek at 168 MW beside the Mamre and Sydney West substations.

Three campuses off Mamre Road and Aldington Road account for 1,358 of the 6,153 MW we track across Sydney.

AirTrunk's SYD4 on Mamre Road is the largest campus in the Sydney pipeline. The NSW Planning Portal lists it at 1,000 MW. AirTrunk's application documents say 1.2 GW, and we use the portal figure. AirTrunk cut the plan from six buildings to three in an amendment, and the application is in assessment.

Further along Mamre Road, Microsoft handed over the first building of its Azure campus in May 2026 and is building the second. The 190 MW comes from Microsoft's 2021 application. Microsoft hasn't published a newer figure.

Stockland and EdgeConneX's campus on Aldington Road has the Investment Delivery Authority's endorsement and is amending its SEARs. We count it at 168 MW. The portal index cites 245 MW, which we haven't been able to confirm.
